Research Interests:
Ecology,Limnology,Enviroment and Resourse Studies.
Research activities focus on freshwater systems, with
particular emphasis on lakes and reserviours. Research at a larger geographic scale and
system level includes geographic pattern of lakes variability and its influence on
fish communities; and the land water linkages that influence lakes ecosystem function in
human-altered drainage basins.I am interested in building computer
database of landscape properties freshwater in the world (Europa,Asia and America).I am
interested in the field of acidification freshwaters in the northern regions
of Europe and America.
I am interested in (1)
biology,ecology and biogeography of glacial relict crustaceans (Mysis relicta,Pontoporeia
Pallasea) in freshwater of Europe and Northern America;(2)biology,ecology of freshwater
invertebrates (Chironomidae) and crayfish (Astscus leptodactylus,A.astacus).
At present, I am carrying out a large-scale project which covers
some acidification problems of freshwaters .One from objects of this project is to make
review about the current acidification status of waters on some territories in the nordic
regions
